This tour features the incomparable Ed Bearss, regarded as the dean of Civil War battlefield tour guides and lectures, Friday evening, by Robert K. Krick, an authority on Stonewall Jackson and the armies of the Confederacy and Dr. Jonathan Noyalas, who has just authored Stonewall Jackson’s 1862 Valley Campaign: War Comes to the Homefront.

 Saturday morning we’ll depart at 8 AM for a day-long tour of the battlefields of Cross Keys, Port Republic and Front Royal. We’ll also stop at the Turner Ashby monument in Harrisonburg.  Lunch will be on the Cross Keys battlefield.

On Sunday, we’ll cover 1st Winchester and the Battle of Kernstown. In addition, we’ll stop at Jackson’s headquarters in Winchester.  This is your opportunity to visit the battlefields which constitute the tapestry of Jackson’s greatest triumph – the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
