Join Robert K. Krick, Dr. Gary Gallagher and Edwin C. Bearss, for this unique tour of the Battle of Fredericksburg and associated engagements along the Rappahannock River.

We’ll begin the program Wednesday evening December 12th at 8 PM with lectures by

Dr. Gary Gallagher and Bob Krick.  Thursday will be devoted to the Battle of Fredericksburg – one of the great victories achieved by R. E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia.  Tour stops for interpretation will include Chatham Manor, the stonewall below Marye’s Heights, various sites in Fredericksburg, Lee’s Hill, Howison’s Hill, the site of the Federal breakthrough, Prospect Hill, and the Slaughter Pen Farm.

On Friday, we’ll follow the one and only Ed Bearss  as we cover the operations along Mine Run including an extensive walking tour of the Battle of Payne’s Farm. In the afternoon we’ll cover the Sixth Corps operation at Rappahannock Bridge.
