Join Robert K. Krick and Dr. Gary Gallagher for this unique tour of the Battle of the Battles of the Wilderness and Spotsylvania.

We値l begin the program Saturday afternoon at 5PM We値l assemble in the Palm Room at the Fredericksburg Hospitality House and then proceed to the Spotsylvania Battlefield where we will spend several hours covering Emory Upton痴 May 10, 1864 assault against the salient held by George Doles and his Georgians.

Dr. Gary Gallagher and Bob Krick will lead the group on Sunday on a morning tour of the Wilderness battlefield. Interpretive stops will include Saunders Field, where we値l have a short walking tour, and then make our way down to the Widow Tapp field where we値l go in to battle with the Texas Brigade and discuss the Lee to the rear incident. We値l also stop to interpret the wounding of Longstreet and the fighting at the Palnk Road Brock Road intersection. Lunch will be a catered box lunch at the Spotsylvania Exhibit Shelter. In the afternoon we値l start the Spotsylvania tour with the death of Gen Sedgwick. From there we値l do a walking tour of Laurel Hill. Back to the hotel by 5PM

On Sunday evening, Bob Krick and Gary Gallagher will deliver lectures at 8:30 in the Palm Room.

On Monday we値l again take to the Spotsylvania battlefield where we値l walk along the famous Mule Shoe salient and deal with the Second Corps assault of May 12, 1864, stand with the Sixth Corps as they assail the Bloody Angle and we値l also interpret the Lee to the rear incident as well as other sights on the Spotsylvania battlefield. Lunch once again will be a catered box lunch at the Spotsylvania Exhibit Shelter. Back to the hotel by 4:30 PM
